This is an important picture to me.

I was in this small town in Tuscany (Cortona) and I saw this scene.

Immediately I approach to the man with red shoes and take 3 shots from different angles.

After the third shoot I hear someone screaming in my direction and instinctively I turned to him... Joel Meyerowitz was screaming at me: "Keep shooting! Keep shooting! Arghhh, is gone".

So I approach him and say:

"But, Mr. Meyerowitz, I already got 3 shots ..."

"Are you sure? Did you get all three elements?"

"Sure!"

"Let me see ..."

So I showed him the LCD and he said, "ahhhhh perfect! This is the only gift that the street gave us today and you've been good to see it, to be ready to catch it and to frame it perfectly! Bravo! (with subsequent bow)" ...

Joel Meyerowitz bowed to me.

I still can not believe it really happened.

I'll never forget it.

wow what a story!!!
The lion mimicking the man, whose shoes recall the sign. There also are tiny details that add to the picture like the cig hanging from the man's mouth  and the tongue hanging from the lion's mouth, or that thing the man uses for his foot and that looks like the lion's tail.

I thing the picture is good but not outstanding, but the story behind it makes it special to me. Thanks Mary! ;)

I would have chosen a more frontal angle
But I like it, very much.

I have one with a more front angle but in that one you can not see the lion properly...I'm glad you like it! :)
